Summary:
ENGINE CYLINDER HEAD REBUILD The assembly of industrial & automotive diesel engine heads according to established procedure and instructions.
Essential Functions:
Perform the assembly of industrial and automotive diesel engine heads while following all company instructions and guidelines.
Use lift and hoist equipment to move engine cylinder heads and parts.
Use care and attention when handling engine components.
Skillfully use hand, air and electric power tools in the machining and assembly process, if applicable.
Skillfully use tightening tools such as torque wrenches and power angle drivers, during the assembly process if applicable.
Use typical measurement tools used in the assembly process such as:
micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
Maintain attention to detail, and quality under varying circumstances.
Maintain neat, clean, and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience/Training/Education:
Experience with Industrial and automotive engine heads and parts
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of and experience with industrial, automotive engine components.
Knowledge of and experience with automotive machining such as:
engine cylinder head resurfacing, is a plus Ability to lift, push, pull and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8-4:
